How to find inner peace while remembering the sad, lonely and weird holidays during the Corona pandemic?

The Christmas holiday of 2020 was a very special holiday as we could not celebrate it with our sisters, brothers, cousins, uncles and aunts because of the corona pandemic. It was not possible to travel to other countries to see your loved ones without risking being infected by this virus. You weren’t safe anywhere.

The government was trying to protect their people by putting mandatory security measures in place. Everything was so weird and nothing like what we are used to.

We wanted to protect ourselves and others by limiting our outdoor activities (if we had any) to the minimum.

We missed the usual festivities, the activities, the restaurants, and the outdoor activities.

But what about the sadness and the heaviness that came with it? We felt sad, isolated, disappointed, strange, angry, and lost during the Christmas holidays. Some of us more than others, depending on our personal situation. Some were in quarantine and could not even see anyone at all.

Now, how can we accept the Christmas holidays of 2020-2021 and see the good in it?

Is there any way we can find some level of inner peace and calmness in these unsafe and insecure times we are living in?

Yes, there is!

Years ago, I found EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) that helped me to feel calm and peaceful no matter what happened. EFT totally transformed my life. It is a fantastic relaxation technique that helps you to release negative emotions like sadness, anger, loneliness, disappointment and much more. As a result, you feel emotionally liberated, calm and neutral. To read more about EFT please click here.

We have no control over what is happening in the world we live in. We cannot change anything. The only thing we have control over is our own lives. We can change the way we perceive the outside world by feeling calm and peaceful inside of us.

When we release our negative emotions like sadness, anger, disappointment and fear, we feel calm, centred, peaceful, relaxed and we are able to breath freely. Once we have reached this state of calmness, we perceive the outside world differently. It is like we change our glasses and look at the outside world in a different way. We become more patient and peaceful. Acceptance becomes easier.

As an EFT coach I can show you how to release your negative emotions and guide you through it.
